Heal Your Roots Wellness ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. What we collect

We collect three categories of information:

• Information you provide directly — name, email, state, phone, and any details you submit through forms (clinician applications, client waitlist, contact forms, account signups).
• Usage information — pages visited, referring URLs, device and browser metadata, approximate location derived from IP address. We use this in aggregate to improve the site.
• Payment information — when you pay for a clinician membership, payment details are collected and stored by our payment processor (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

2. How we use your information

• To operate the directory, fulfill memberships, and respond to your inquiries.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, billing receipts, waitlist notifications).
• To improve the site, debug, and analyze usage.
• With your consent, to send occasional product updates. You can opt out anytime.

3. What we do not do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not share clinician or client data with advertisers.
• We do not provide therapy services through this site. Heal Your Roots Wellness is a directory and network for licensed clinicians; the therapeutic relationship is between you and the clinician you choose.

4. HIPAA

This site is a directory and marketing platform — it is not a covered entity under HIPAA. Protected Health Information (PHI) exchanged between you and a clinician is governed by that clinician's own HIPAA-compliant systems and privacy practices.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences, and basic analytics to understand traffic patterns. You can disable cookies in your browser; some site features may not work without them.

6. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of vetted vendors, including Stripe (payments), our email provider, and standard cloud-infrastructure providers. Each vendor has its own privacy policy.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to opt out of certain processing. Email hello@healyourrootswellness.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

8. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active members.
