Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Heal Your Roots Wellness. By using the site, you agree to these terms.

1. The service

Heal Your Roots Wellness is a clinician-owned mental health network that operates a public therapist directory and a paid membership program for licensed clinicians. The site is informational and connective — it is not the practice of medicine, psychology, or therapy.

2. Not medical advice

Content on this site is for general information only and is not medical, psychological, or clinical advice. Always consult a licensed clinician for diagnosis or treatment. If you are in crisis, call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or call 911.

3. Eligibility for clinician accounts

Clinician accounts are restricted to mental health professionals who hold an active, unrestricted license in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (or are pre-licensed under qualifying supervision in a state we serve). We may verify credentials and may suspend or remove accounts that misrepresent licensure.

4. Membership and billing

• Clinician membership is billed monthly through our payment processor (Stripe).
• Founding pricing applies only to the first 100 confirmed founding clinicians and remains locked at the founding rate for as long as the membership is continuously active.
• You may cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Email hello@healyourrootswellness.com.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to: misrepresent identity or credentials; scrape the directory; harass other members or clients; use the service to violate law or any clinical code of ethics; or attempt to interfere with the operation of the site.

6. Content you submit

You retain ownership of content you submit (profile copy, bio, photos). You grant Heal Your Roots Wellness a worldwide, non-exclusive license to display that content within the directory and related promotional contexts while your membership is active.

7. The therapeutic relationship

Heal Your Roots Wellness is not a party to the therapeutic relationship between a clinician and a client. We do not provide treatment, schedule sessions, or hold PHI on behalf of clinicians. Each clinician is solely responsible for their own clinical practice.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee leads, conversions, or specific business outcomes from a directory listing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heal Your Roots Wellness will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated to active members and reflected in the "Last updated" date above.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
